Little League Umpires
Pella Little League Umpires are volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to umpire Little League Baseball and Softball. Help set a positive example - become an umpire today!
Umpires are scheduled for each Major, Minor and Babe Ruth league game. Rescheduling will occur in the case of rainouts. Umpires are paid $25 per game if they attended the pre-season Umpires' Clinic and $20 per game if they failed to attend the clinic.
All local Little Leagues are now required to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, and any other persons who have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams. More information on the Little League Child Protection Program can be found at the Official Little League Web Site.

Little League Coaching
Pella Little League teams are managed and coached by volunteers, typically parents of players. Every team, from Coach Pitch through Majors, needs 1 manager and at least 1-2 assistant coaches.
If you want a rewarding hobby, a whole bunch of new little friends, and an opportunity to give back into the community then Little League Baseball and Softball is for you.
